Orange Slice Type is an independent type foundry founded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 2018. Since 2024, we operate from two branches in New York and Seoul. We mainly research and develop roman typeface. We do not restrict ourselves to specific research themes, but our focus is largely on expanding the limits of linguistic expression by exploring one concept or imagery per font. Our most outspoken designer has come up with the names and key tasks so far, but we plan to continue our practices in many different ways.
Besides offering retail typefaces, we provide other type design services, such as drawing letters, bespoke typefaces, custom typefaces, design logotypes, type researching services, and graphic design. We are also offering art and culture-related writing and curation services.
